Can you give a phone estimate?
Out of fairness to our clients, we prefer to do on-site estimates to ensure accuracy.
Yes, we are pleased to review the work that you would like to have completed. We will, free of charge, prepare a comprehensive proposal that includes a detailed scope of work, along with all price quotes.
How long does a typical paint job take?
A typical complete home exterior can take up to 4 to 5 business days. Interior work varies greatly on the number of rooms and how much detail is required. Our estimator will inform you of the approximate duration you can expect. You can be assured your job will be scheduled on consecutive business days from start to finish.
Just call or email us and we will contact you immediately.
Yes, we can patch drywall.
Do you services include wallpaper installation?
No, not at this time.
When you decide to have us do your painting project, we will deliver a color chart to you. This will contain a variety of colors that you can choose from. We will give you ample time to make your color selection. We will pick up the color chart when the project begins. It is always best to hire a 'color consultant'.
Which paint sheen should I use?
Paint sheens will have an aesthetic purpose and a practical purpose. Choose a sheen that you like but keep in mind that higher interior sheens are more washable and resist marking better.
Generally, we use flats for ceilings; eggshell or satin for walls; satin or semi-gloss for woodwork. Most of our exterior projects are done with lowsheen or satin to ensure more durability.
What do I need to do to prepare for the painters?
For interiors remove all nick-knacks and small personal Items. We will do the rest. For exterior projects you should remove all items at least 8 ft from the exterior walls.
How long should I wait before cleaning my windows after painting?
We always recommend waiting 30-days before allowing any cleaning agents to come in contact with the new paint. Paint dries in a matter of a few hours but all paint goes through a curing process, which takes longer.
Does someone have to remain home while the painting is being done?
No. We can paint while you are at work or out. You tell us the arrangements (leaving a key, giving us an extra key, or whatever you choose to do) and we make certain the house is secured before we leave.
How often should I pressure clean?
It is recommended to pressure clean your house once a year. It is imperative to clean before any attempt to restain/repaint. This insures a longer lasting paint job. More frequent cleanings normally save you money because the surface is cleaner which allows for a faster cleaning time. Commercial & Industrial properties normally need to be cleaned on a more frequent basis due to the increased use and exposure to vehicle and foot traffic.
If I have my property power washed will I have to repaint or restain?
Properties can be cleaned without creating a need to repaint or restain. Every potential job is carefully inspected prior to any cleaning to insure all surfaces are stable. Any questionable area, which may pose a problem, is discussed prior to any cleaning.
Will power washing damage or ruin my landscaping?
Our method of cleaning your location allows us to safely clean without damage to your shrubs, plants and trees. Part of our cleaning method incorporates safeguards to insure the safety of your foliage.
Should we cover bushes and plants before cleaning?
We do not recommend doing this.
Since changes in weather conditions can affect the growth of mildew, it is hard to say conclusively. To prevent mildew from accumulating we recommend pressure cleaning once a year.
How long does it take to clean a driveway?
The average residential driveway is about 1,000 Sq Ft. with another 200 sq ft of walkways and other surfaces. This usually takes us 2 - 3 hours to clean.
